Watercolor Week 1

• Topic of the week- Brush control & Basic Techniques

This week we learned about brush control and stroke practice along with basic watercolor techniques. 

• Key Vocabulary: line quality, abstract, non-objective, calligraphic line, contour line, resist

• In-Class Activities: introduction to materials, mark-making to music, basic watercolor techniques worksheet, clean-up routines

• Homework: starry night sky project, look over resources (below)
